Where do you buy your components?

Post by Mobile Mike » Wed Aug 05, 2009 8:28 am

Hi Everyone

This is my first post and I have a question for the community. I'm writing an iPhone application to make it easier to browse for parts when you're on the move and would appreciate any input on which on-line distributors you use for buying your components in the UK. So far I have:

Arrow
CPC
Digikey
Farnell
Maplin
Mouser
Newark
RS

Are there any which need adding to the list?

Thanks in advance - apologies if this kind of post isn't allowed on the forum, mods feel free to delete if inappropriate.

Hi Mike

I think your list covers all the suppliers I use - mostly Farnell & RS, sometimes Arrow. You might want to add Rapid Electronics - I don't use them but I know plenty of people do. I think that covers all the major ones, but you could also check the 'Components, Kits & Test Equipment' links section on the menu above for any we might have overlooked.
