wireless alarm

Post by dexter » Thu Aug 16, 2012 6:14 pm

Hello,

Would like to eliminate the lound beep warnings but not the LED light on my remote : when I want to arm/activate the system, it emits three loud beeps with a red light; when I deactivate, a single loud beep is heard. I only want to see the LED light to indicate to me that the system is activated/or deactivated. Is there something I can do on the circuit board or is it a programmable feature that was done at the factory ?

The quickest solution is to get to the circuit board of the remote and unsolder the sonalert/speaker so that it now longer emits the beeps.

The easiest way is to cut the leads to the speaker/sonalert then you will not have the sounds, only the LED indication.
