Complete beginner needs help please.
Hi all,
I have a small project that i need help on.
Here is what I am aiming for
Battery pack
On/off flick switch
3 x green leds
Low RPM (20rpms) motor with some sort of off centre spindle fitted
The idea is I flick the switch and all 3 led's come on and the motor starts running at 20 rpm
The motor I have bought (without researching it) is an MFA/Combo Drills RE-140 [8200 rpm] this is rated 1.5 to 3V. My LEDs are rated for 3V+.
How do I reduce the RPMs on this motor and If I use a 9V pp3 for power, how do I reduce it so that I dont burn out the LEDs and motor while still providing constant power.
Any diagrams or partnumbers would be greately appreciated!
Excuse the stupid questions, but I am a complete novice when it comes to electronics.
Many thanks
Mike.
