I need to automatically transfer a 24VDC load (about 1.5 amps) from a regulated switch mode PS (24VDC outp) to a lead-acid standby battery with permanently connected trickle charger. The max. battery voltage can be as high as 28V. PS and battery source will be diode-blocked.
Loss of utility power from PS sensed by opto coupler turning on MOSFED (or IGBT) device transfering power to the load (bumpless)
Does anyone have a suggestion on supply source for such device, or if not readily available circuit suggestion ?
