rewire a UFO light please help!!
Hi bought this:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... TQ:GB:1123
and as you can see it lights with a touch of the centre either the outer ring or the centre. I need to know how to rewire it so it is either fully on (all lights) or just the outer ring. Any suggestions welcome!!!!

Re: rewire a UFO light please help!!
Hi
Without seeing the inside of the light it's impossible to say. From the description I suspect it will use a micro controller or custom-designed IC to cycle through the various combinations and flashing etc. If you simply want all the LEDs on you might be able to bypass the controller, but you would need to be careful not to bypass any current limiting resistors or circuitry.
If you already have one of these post some pictures of it opened up and it might be possible to work out how to do it.
