Bluetooth 4.0 TDA7492P 50W+50W Audio amplifier board

Post by iihron » Sat Aug 22, 2015 12:34 pm

hey how can power (Wireless Digital Bluetooth 4.0 TDA7492P 50W+50W Audio Receiver Amplifier Board) with battery's.. ill attach a image of the board and specs... i want to make a portable speaker..i dont want to use li-po as its expensive .... and can you tell me a way to make a charging circuit for it

Power: 2.1 interface 8 ~ 24V DC power supply
Audio input: stereo input various versions of the Bluetooth connection, using CSR8635 Bluetooth chip, Bluetooth V4.0, high software compatibility
Output Impedance: 8 ohms Best(4,6,8,16 ohm impedance can drive speakers)
Output Power: Add pre-5532 output foot (powered 25V ,6-ohm impedance output 2 X 50W, 8 ohm impedance output 2X40W dual-channel)
TDA7492 digital amplifier chip, designed to optimize the circuit layout, the sound quality is very good, big power
DIP switches can be more easily directly adjusted after-class amplifier gain, to better promote the impedance larger speakers. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-5_ ... sp=sharing

It doesn't actually give you the power consumed by the board. So it is difficult to predict what battery would be best.

All you need to do is cut the wire to the jack and wire it to a 24V battery, caution a 12V battery on charge is about 14.4V two batteries are 28.8V. (Car batteries)
I would advise using a multi meter to find the current (amps) through the wire and use a fast blow fuse when you wire it to the battery.
Do not go above 25V absolute Max, smaller batteries seem suitable.

Basically snip the wire to the jack and attach to the battery, make sure you get it the right way round or it will fry.

May be use less than 24V and use a charging circuit of 24V, ...need to know the side of the batteries and the current through the device.
Opamps for charging while using the device or zenner (spell check did not like that word) diodes.

In fact you could use the charger that you have to charge the batts.
How many amps or mA is the charger, it will say on the charger?

16 maybe AA batteries would do.

That was the size of the batteries, one post back.( baly auto spell thingi )
The current rating of the charger will do.

what if i was to use 40 aa ni-mh 1.2v 3000 mah
2 set of 20 battery's in series and wire both together in parallel giving me 24v at 6000 mah
i heard of super capacitors that can power it but i dot know were to start with that
will a joule thief help?

I/we ( if anyone else gets involved ) need to know the output of the charger (mA) to choose the best batt.

The batts you say sound OK even just 20 or 19 so the charger is a bit higher.

You should test the series of batts with a volt or multi meter to make sure they are not a bit higher than 24V.

The test spec was 25V in some cases.

A blocking diode between the batts and the charger would be a good idea to prevent reverse current when the charger is turned off, deliberately or accidentally.

A switch between the batts and the device.

I am not sure of exactly what the board is running, may be bigger batts?

What is the charger rated at?
