Help with small electronic shelf
Hi all,
I'm looking for a bit if help , and I'm sorry if this is a daft question but I can't find an answer anywhere.. I'm looking at making a small electronic drawer that slides out from a shelf.. very much like that of a DVD disk tray that operates from a switch and a 9v battery that I have already hooked up to a couple of led's.. is this possible? I have some spare servos I was using to build a rc plane but don't know if I can adapt ththesaurus the use of an electronic speed controller? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Col.

Re: Help with small electronic shelf
If you want a small drawer very much like a DVD disc tray, then why not use a DVD tray?

You could open and close it with a solonoid, and reverse the voltage to close it, but you would have to damp it somehow or it will take your fingers off.
