Blown component enquiry

Post by allsmiles7 » Sat Dec 02, 2023 3:56 pm

Could anyone help with an educated guess as to the value of this blown resistor? It's on the power supply of a batten strip light with 18 LEDs at the 240v AC supply. any suggestions would be gratefully received.
Thank you

Without seeing the specific resistor or having more details, it's challenging to provide an accurate estimate. However, you might want to check the resistor's color code or markings for its resistance value. Additionally, consider the power rating (wattage) indicated. If unsure, a multimeter can help measure resistance. Always replace with a resistor of the same value and wattage to ensure proper functionality.
