Looking for an Electronics wizz to make me something...
Good afternoon.
Before I begin, I am not an electronics fabricator and whilst I am very technically minded I lack the skills required to implement and put in place what I want to have built.
So I am coming to you, the forum of those in the know.
I have a concept or idea which I would like you to tell me if it is possible to build. Additionally if it is possible I would like to know if anybody would like to build the device or point me in the direction of where I spend my money to have it built.
What I am after is a box with an extendable ariel which lights and buzzer on it. When you flick a switch the ariel emits a low electro-magnetic field. If the field is broken in any way, then the light lights up (brightness depending on the level of interruption) and at the same time the buzzer goes off (again the intensity depending on the levelof interruption).
Is this possible?

You want something like a proximity switch. Google this - you should find quite a lot of kits available.
