Converting 24Volt AC to 24Volt DC

Is it possible if it is how and what do I need.

It is just to run a small LED warning light which is 24V DC and the supply I have got is 24V AC ( for a Automatic Gate System )

Try using simple bridge rectifier (Graetz bridge).
