Rotational switch
I'm trying to find/make a switch that will only switch on when it is oriented between certain degrees in one plane (a bike wheel). It doesn't have to overly accurate but it does need to be really simple. I don't think I really want to go and get some sensors and build a complicated electronic setup as I want to make quite a few of them cheaply. Any ideas where I can find anything like this?
Re: Rotational switch
How about a magnet attached to a spoke and a reed relay on the frame or forks?

Re: Rotational switch
Hi Richard. I'm attaching a sensor to the actual wheel and I'm looking to see what orientation it is. The reed switch will only tell me when I pass a certain point.

Do you want a pulse, want it to stay on or what...what's it for? What does it do?
