Help finding replacement relay

Post by barabas » Fri Aug 23, 2013 6:43 pm

Hi all, new here, please be gentle :) I'm trying to fix my beloved old amp that I've had for 25 years. I've found the fault to lie with a defective relay:

the flashed out portion reads: Matsushita JR2a-DC24V-Y2...
Any help finding a replacement gratefully received.

Can you provide any measurements of the pins?
One of these might do - just cut off the two unused pins (the normally closed ones)

Measurements are in the technical data sheet.

Hello, I wondered if you managed to fix the amp?

My technics amp has stopped working and I believe this relay is the problem. Did your fix work?

Thanks

Hey Dan,
Unfortunately since the above posts are almost 18 months old, I doubt you ever get a reply. :(
Can you give us a bit of an idea of what's happened to your amp?
Does it power up at all? Do you hear any clicking when turning it on? Or any other strange things going on with it?
Regards,
Relayer
