capacitors
hi there,
i've had this discussion with a friend about capacitors just recently coz i was looking for a substitute for the value that i needed but unfortunately its unavailable in our area. now my query is this, what happens to the voltage of the capacitor when connected in series or in parallel? like, i would connect two 33 mf 50 volts in series, i do understand that the capacitance would result in half but what about the voltage? in this case, its a non-polar capacitor. also, is it true that whenever you connect two polarized capacitors eg.., the + side to + side, would make it a non-polar one? pardon me me these questions, im still a newbie when it comes to electronics....thank you very much.....
