Relay required to provide 24v output

Postby deltazx » Thu Apr 12, 2012 4:44 pm

Hello,

I'm looking for an electronic relay that will give a 24v output to power a device when triggered - however, the input voltage will only be 12v! I can't seem to find a relay that will essentially provide this step up in power....

can anyone give advice? I'm amazed by how many types and brands of relays are out there and cannot seem to wade through them all to get what I need!
Any help much appreciated.

Just to update folks... looking around the forum, it looks like what I need is actually a 'step up' dc converter, that will take the 12v incoming, change it up to 24v and power the device I need powering!
