Source of sleeving?

Hi from a newie.
Does anyone know where I can get plastic/pvc/whatever sleeving from? I can't find it anywhere. Plenty of heatshrink stuff, and thick earthing stuff, but not the approx 1.5 - 2mm coloured type that I remember was common as muck years ago. I'm getting very tired of stripping wire just to get the sleeving off, and in any case that doesn't work for more than a couple of inches at a time.
Thank-you for any ideas (or if anyone has a big reel of it lying around that they never use...),

Have you tried a larger supplier such as Farnell or RS? I haven't looked for it for a while, but I'd have thought they would have something. That said I think they both have a minimum order value for non-account customers. Alternatively an electrical wholesaler will have sleeving in the standard 'electrical' colours (sold for colour coding wiring), not sure of diameter though. E.g. TLC direct - http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Main_Index/ ... index.html. Admittedly the colour choice is pretty limited.

Hi - Thanks, but I've tried RS & Farnell etc. It's fine if you want heat shrink / resistant / large diameter etc, but just ordinary plastic 2mm stuff - no!

Actually, I have found somewhere now: http://www.termtech.co.uk/catalogue.pdf (search: PVC Sleeve - 3J). The retailer's only a mile away, wouldn't you know!) It still has to be 100m at a time, though 6 or 7 pounds seems pretty reasonable. Anybody in London (save me messing around posting) want to split a few?

Well, I've now got 100m each of red & black, 2mm int. 3mm ext. diameter, far more than I'll use in years. If anyone wants some at cost + postage, let me know. [I don't know how it works on this forum - do PMs get copied to my email? Whatever.]
