Is there such a thing as a variable resister with a range of zero to 25 hms? If there is, where can I get one?

Hi

I don't think there are in standard ranges, it is possible there might be in higher wattages - although they would get quite big. If anyone does them Farnell (http://www.farnell.com) or RS (http://www.rswww.com) are likely to have them. If not you could try their techincal helplines, they might know if one is available.

You do not state whether wire wound or carbon or wattage I do not think you would get a carbon low wattage.
