Hi guys, newbie to this forum and looking for some advice.
I have a small hot foil press which requires a new controller, it's 240v heating a 400w cartridge heater via a type k thermocouple.
I hate throwing anything away so want to reuse and recycle where I can. The foil press is used for hot foil embossing of one off leather items. The controller I want to use is as per the image attached, iam unsure what the component shown on point's 1, 3 & 4 is dose the fact that the component is shown within the ring of contacts mean it's built in to the controller? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

First off, it looks Ike the item in the photo is a timer, probably to control power to a heating element.

The diagram on the label is a pinout for the plug on the base, along with a schematic of the control actions of the timer's switch and power inputs.

It looks like a replacement might be available here:

An exact replacement isn't listed but it's likely your part number was superceded, a call to the company could help.

Not sure I would be comfortable bodging that. The resulting conflagration might not be covered by insurance :D
