How do I make a dartboard spin?

Hi! I'm wondering if someone can help me? I'm helping to organise my local village fete and I would like to make a spinning dartboard for one of the stalls. The fete will take place in a field and I will not have access to mains electricity. I was thinking of using a wiper motor from a car and a 12v car battery. I guess I will probably need some sort of speed control as well unless I can get the gearing right? The fete will last for about 5 hours and the dartboard would probably run continuously for this period (may need a few car batteries?). I have limited electronics experience (and little or no buget) and was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction with the electrics or could suggest alternative methods? Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks!
