It can't be switch bounce, it must be induced.
It was switch bounce by the way and I ended up not using the transistor, just a relay and resistor I forget if it was pull up of down off the top of my head.
The car failed on emissions, I think its the waste gate on the turbo, can do no probs.
The dash board passed its MOT with a 555 for the air bag, a 555 for the power steering light, and an engine management light wired to the oil pressure switch!
Tar&stuff.
