Capacitor help

Postby ryan. » Sun Feb 07, 2010 11:09 am

Hi all,

My car amp decided to blow what I think is a capacitor yesterday. It has written on it MMY 106K250, what does that mean?
Could anyone give me any help in sourcing any of these caps?

Here's a pic of the damage:

As you could imagine my car stank for quite a while

could mean anything really. your best bet is to get a circuit diagram for it, that will tell you the values.

that may not be the end of the story though just replacing the cap.
you have to work out if it has killed anything else?
